Florida law requires a permit to tech Real Estate Education Courses. Applicants can qualify for the permit by either education, experience, or examination.
Permits by exam
The Real Estate Instructor’s licensure examination consists of one hundred multiple choice questions. Candidates are given a total of three and half hours to complete the examination. The examination consists of questions covering twelve content areas. In addition, candidates must be familiar with the Closing Disclosure Documents (HUD-1), in order to answer closing related questions.
Although there is no requirement for qualified residents to take this course, we recommend real estate experience and the real estate law exam prep before sitting for the exam.
